Dress For The Occasion

Dress For The Occasion

Now that Christmas is over people are making plans for New Years Eve. Some people are going out and others will choose to stay home. If you do decide to go out and are attending a cocktail party deciding what to wear can be time-consuming and a bit frustrating. Bringing in the new year is a time to reflect on the past while celebrating the beginning of a new year.

If you are going to attend a party indoors than deciding on the perfect outfit for the night events should be a bit easier than if you were going to be out in the cold most of the night. Ladies you want to feel beautiful while still feeling comfortable in what you choose to wear. If you are attending a dinner party below here are a few ideas to add the right look and enough sparkle to catch anyone’s eye.

This look has a combination of all the items needed to dress for a night of celebration.

Ladies if you are going out for New Years Eve you could even try wearing a shorter dress with some sparkle heels. Try this look. Not only is this beautiful, but wont be too tight on you.

This dress is so beautiful and classy.

I love these shoes. The perfect match for this dress.

Ladies you will also need some jewelry to set the look for the evening. Deciding what type of jewelry to wear is important. If you are choosing to wear a shorter dress with a lower cut you might want to try a necklace that hangs a little lower. This will draw the eyes to the center of your neck line

When trying to decide what length of necklace to wear you will need to know the different sizes and how far you want the necklace to hang.

For the above dress I think if you choose to go with the 18″ or 20″ necklace it would look great. When picking a color and style of necklace to wear you can choose a variety of colors and shapes You wont have to stick with just silver if you do choose to wear the above colors of the dress and shoes.

Here is a great diagram to show you the different sizes. This should help in making your decision a little easier.

Lets take a look at some jewelry to compliment the dress of your choice. If you want to add a slight touch of color  you can try emerald-green. Green is a great holiday color!

You can try some silver to give a more polished look.

Once you have decided on what jewelry to wear you will need a purse or clutch. I would suggest carrying a smaller purse because if you have one that is too bulky it will just get in the way.

If you feel like dancing you wont have to worry about letting go of this purse. This will be easy to hold onto.

Just enough sparkle.

Just enough sparkle.

Have a safe happy New Year and many blessing to you.
